i want to purchase a set of these but all the links to japanparts on these forums are dead links, would greatly appreciate help in finding a pair

how do you find these springs on australian roads?

It a bit hard for me to compare handling differences between standard and STI springs as I have had the STI springs since new. Only time I have driven a standard one was on three short test drives 4 months before my car arrived.

To be honest they don't seem to be any harsher ride wise than the standard springs, they are 15mm lower and I did not get the front lip spoiler, have not scraped it yet but pretty careful with driveways.

Easiest way to get a rough estimate on yen pricing is to cut off the last two digits.

50,000 yen = roughly $500.00. The dollar is actually slightly stronger than the yen right now.

Yeah they kept bleating something about there was no room for legs and feet in the back so solved the problem, fitted quarter turn fasteners so detaching/attaching quick and painless now

first time their was a bit of protest just gave 'em a bit of wood to bite on and a slug of burbon

Can only speak for myself

1. STI springs were available as factory option ie keep warantee

2. Wanted a car for use as daily driver so 15mm drop was enough for me most other options were 25mm or more unless you went for coilovers ie adjustable

3. figured the people at STI had probably done their homework and they would enhance cars handling without other unforseen dramas.
