I like how I read all 6 pages just to see the last page being Ultramaroon talking about papercuts. This thread was a good read tho, I would look into an Alpine if it was avaliable and I had that Money to spare. Maybe I should start dancing on weekend or something, agreed with most people here it's not a killer. Camaro should be a pretty competitive car, the ND has body roll, Torque dip is real, Abarth has less body roll but it's also much softer. Yadda yadda

Subaru did too.

Anyway, I would do all sorts of things for the Renault Alpine. Love that thing.

I have driven a friend's ND and neither he or I consider the cars body roll excessive. Weird huh?
Body roll is not bad per se. With double wishbone suspension increased camber can be dialed in with roll. It also gives average drivers a cue as to how fast they are cornering.
Because compromise.
I missed this the first time around. Sorry.

Agreed! (obviously)

Pretty good outcome at Top Gear track.
Mmmm, actually, I'm fairly impressed.

One of these burst into flames a couple days ago. Not really sure I could spend so much money on a French car.

If you are referring to the Top Gear car that was being driven by Chris Harris it happened 2 months ago in a pre-production car.

Thanks, you're right. I thought there were 2 separate incidences.

I would like to have an unreliable car that costs a lot, looks mediocre, and goes relatively slowly. Any suggestions? I was thinking Lotus, but they're just too pretty and reliable for me.

Well measuring a car in "86 units", this one is definitely not worth 2 x 86 units. It seems more like 1.4 units of 86 being generous, so it should have been priced out closer to maybe $38k.

86 units? How many 86 units to a Schrute Buck?
