I don't mind sharing at all.

I order mine through https://www.subaruonlineparts.com/index.php but they shipped with UPS and I got charged for brokage fee and duty when cross the border. I ordered the mirror, chrome and chrome license plate frame and got charged for $51

But some parts we carry at the local dealership is cheaper or same price, compare price before order (i.e. Rear Diffuser CAD$599 vs US$674)

But I found another website also, not sure if they use UPS or USPS

Yeah, UPS is a bummer. They cost a mint in brokerage fees.

Was it really a chrome license plate frame you ordered or a stainless steel one?

I mean it is stainless frame. It is a bit heavy kind and feel like its metal, not plastic with chrome coating. On website it said resist corrosion, but only time can tell. for $28; yeah whatever.

I had the luckiest thing ever happen to me. I ordered an Asphalt 6MT in Calgary mid June, was told 6-8 weeks... Being extremely impatient, and after hearing that Scion dealers won't tell you if other dealerships have one, I called every dealership in Alberta. A dealership in Edmonton had my exact car, already sold, but the financing looked iffy and might not go through. I put a deposit to have first dibs if it didn't go through... Got a very exciting phone call the next morning, was on the bus two days later heading to pick it up! This car is pure sex.

Was this Sherwood Park Toyota?? I had phone conversations eluding to purchasing exactly what you described on a friday evening a couple weeks back, went back Saturday morning with a deposit and somebody had bought it late Friday evening.

Needless to say however I to got a lucky break mysef. I am picking up a BRZ in Grande Prarie in 2 hours, I guess around here they are not exactly flying off the shelves haha.

Got call from dealer that the car is in!! but since Alberta registry's server is down due to Shaw's building fire, i cant get my car till next Wednesday....

That really sucks.

If you get the car insured and are transferring plates I believe there is a 14 day grace period, so you could still drive it away now. Not sure for new plates, but since in that case it wouldn't have a plate, there's probably no way to do it.

Well, the dealership just emailed me, my car is supposed to be delivered on Thursday July 19th! Hope to be picking it up this weekend!

I live in Saskatoon but ordered from Sherwood Park. Ordered on June 18 and was told end of July to mid August and hadn't heard anything until today. My car is at the rail yard in Edm as of this morning and is supposed to be delivered Thursday!
