PCV sucking oil after oil baffle plate install

Has anybody experienced the PCV system sucking a large amount of oil into the engine attributed to adding a GReddy Oil Pan Baffle Plate (or other brand)?

Rebuilt engine with about 100 miles. Naturally aspirated engine. Was driving some canyons at less than 5000 rpms. Did some hillcrests and shortly after a huge amount of oil smoke billowing out the exhaust. I confirmed that oil came through the PCV in the non-check valve line from the block direct to top of manifold. I pinched the line and drove the car for another few miles until oil in the exhaust burned off. 30+ miles with no issues since.

I have the Greddy baffle since perhaps 25000 km, no issues like that...

Have you checked your oil? Did you overfill? How was your ring gap for the rebuild??

I was about to ask if you had lofted it. Then I went back and read again.

I agree an overfill of oil probably could do this with the FA20 layout but since it's a new build I have been checking level very frequently for the first few miles without noticing changes or needing to add oil.

It's not slow-ish consumption like ring gap or damaged ring. It was a very distinct single sudden event.

Thanks for the feedback from other Greddy plate users. I will investigate my setup further for root cause.

Only thing I could think is if assembling the engine on the stand they could have had some excess oil in it to lube parts. Rotating it on the stand put oil where it wasn't supposed to be and it burped it out on the drive. If it keeps doing it, may want to do a leak down. I'd just keep an eye on it for now.

Here are all the drains and passageways I could find in the block.
