Such a pain to get a 3.5mm allen wrench. Had to buy a new tool set that included that size and the 2.5mm. Oh well. $9 for both a metric set and standard is probably a worthwhile investment in the long run. Thanks guys! My intake should arrive tomorrow!

Interesting thing was my 3mm (or was it 4) allen wrench worked fine for the 3.5mm (unless the kit was mislabeled). I started working on my car assuming I was all good and then I was like s*** I don't have a 3.5mm, but then what I had worked just fine and fit perfectly.

Finally got a chance to put it on. Install was ok, the worst part was fitting the gasket on to the box. Suggestion perhap GS could pre install the gasket for future customers? Also the clamp that was provide was impossible to open for me, did not have a set a pliers that could open it so I reuse one of the clamp on the sound generator. Isn't the right fit but doesn't seem like it going to fall off anyways. Also there is a gap on my lid in the front. Not sure if that will affect anything? Looks like the box itself bow out and there is no way for me to get right of the gap

being aluminum and connected by rivets and bolts, I wonder if it makes any rattling noise?

No rattling sound from my end. Curious if others have the same gap?

Exactly. Doesn't matter what I do, Alaska is so dirty and dusty that you can't keep anything clean. I literally will wipe down my interior and it'll collect with dust in just a day. Exterior gets dirty again within minutes after washing and drying off the car completely. Can not wait until I'm on the East Coast next year!
@nyfries, the instructions suggest pliers, and mine came in super, super handy. The clamp was a PITA, but it was doable. I too, had issues with the gaskets for the box. I was leery of the filter being mounted improperly, but I measure multiple times to ensure the 1" gap was there. So far no issues!
