Oh wait you consider the engine unreliable because the dealer did a shit job on your recall? If you had an oil change done on your car and they forgot to put oil back in would you also point your finger at the engine?

All of them. I saw that netflix documentary "Exploding Boxers" that went into depth about the entire scandal. How the RTV manufacturers made quadrillions on the recall alone.

Solidly re-read. You were talking of *aesthetics* originally. Then threw in "mathematics".
The person below me then added in a new area, fluid mechanics/aerodynamics, which was NOT what you were talking about at all.

"Flow" in this sense purely *subjective*.

Let's see the mathematical calculations then.
Let's see the analysis of the aesthetic design, I already gave my input on that (with references to mathematically quantifiable geometric shapes):

As for fluid mechanics/aero (which wasn't what you were talking about), I've done wind tunnel work to optimize road vehicle aerodynamics, in that world "flow" isn't a rigid technically defined term. We talk about lift and drag and moment coefficients and how altering the "flow" could improve them, but "flow" isn't something that is strictly quantified. If there *is* a technical definition in this sense that I've missed (I'm more of a structures guy), I would bet on the 2nd gen having "better" *flow* but they're almost certainly near enough equivalent.

Anyway, if you wanna solve Navier-Stokes equations for the two and compare/contrast, knock yourself out...

Did I bring it up because flow isn't subjective yes; because that's the reality of both the word, mathematically, and when it comes to design studies/cases. The new car, I would hope, should have better "mathematical" flow thanks to modern aerodynamics, if Subaru/Toyota didn't improve that, they should probably stop making cars.

When it comes to art, classical design, and the way in which the english language developed you literally do not have the necessary design features found on the vehicle to call it a "flowing" concept or "sculpture." One single feature on a vehicle doe not create a unified concept that encompasses overall requirements.

History lessons, English Class, Latin, Eastern Art can all help you here. I won't be responding any further, have a nice day.

I've already reported you to the RTV Misapplication Authorities and it's only a matter of time until your oil pickup tube is kaput! Be ready!

Did you see the part where they said for 2020 they dropped RTV completely and the engine is held together by nothing more than Krazy Glue and Silly Putty?

That was my favorite part. I had no idea how versatile CA and putty really are!

Yep. You can seal your engine AND make copies for the Sunday comics. If you can find printed Sunday comics I suppose.

This is the answer we need for getting the new FA24 engine into the current models! We'll use the putty to copy the additional displacement and put it into the FA20! Whoo hoo! #Solved

It reverses everything though so you would lose displacement.
