Eh, if I were on a track or closed road maybe. However, not only do I not consider myself to be that good of a driver, but also the last thing I'd want to do is play touge hero around some random bend on a rural PA road and then sideswipe a cow that wandered onto the roadway.

It's truly amazing just how much force a 40 pound canine running at full speed can generate when it impacts the side of your knee without even remotely hitting the brakes first. Felt like someone swung a heavy bag at the end of a 20 foot rope at my leg... buckled instantly, and down I went. Can barely walk today, but no swelling so I guess it'll be OK. Guess I know why they use Kelpies for sheep and cattle in Australia. Woof.

Speaking of "Karate Kid," "Cobra Kai" on Netflix was a surprisingly enjoyable series. Really fun seeing those actors reprising some roles.

One fine night my body decided to try to pass a kidney stone. Mrs humfrz drove me screaming to the ER (about 2 miles away - (thank goodness) As I laid in the ER screaming I told the nurse to give me some morphine. She did but it wasn't enough. I ordered her to give me more. She said that she had already given me x of a dose. I told her I didn't care how much she had given me, give me some MORE! After she consulted with a Doctor, she followed my orders. Now, the dog story. Back on the farm, friends of my parents were moving to CA (from OH). They gave my mother a full grown German shepherd. That stupid dog chased every animal on the farm. My mother ask me to take it rabbit hunting. Reluctantly I agreed. I had just kicked up a rabbit from a brush plie and the rabbit took off full bore for a field line fence (hog fence). Now, the rabbit could fit through the openings in the fence, but the dog was too big. Yep, you guessed it, that dog hit that fence full speed ahead and folded up, yelping quite loudly. Nope, no more "hunting lessons" for that dog! THE END |

He recommended this machine with the standard pad that worked wonders when I used a towel between the pad and knee. I was back on my bicycle in a few days which turned out to be too soon, so was back in the recliner with the machine for another two weeks then was good to go. https://www.djoglobal.com/products/d...-iceman-clear3 The doc said you can do the same thing with ice in a ziplock bag so either way consider icing you knee, it helped me recover from orthoscopic surgery weeks ahead of time. That's a lot of dog you have there! |

In Aus people use the hazard lights incorrectly. They get used during the day when they park illegally thinking having the hazards on will excuse them from a fine. Driving in Western Europe people would use the hazards when it was foggy or on a highway indicating that slowing down was appropriate.
