Ahhh nostalgia.

He’s just getting soft in his old age. He did call me to drive 40 miles after work to hold a flashlight and help his glue down a countertop.

i typically see around 30-40 trailers heading west during the 1hr drives from the jobsite, and that's happening 24/7. makes for a lot of trailers passing through...

so going over more stuff on the truck, i found that it's got the oem candian block heater. don't need it exactly, but i want it to work now that i know it's got it.

do you still go to the dealer for oil changes and such? could you ask next time what a replacement block heater power cord would cost? i believe it's generic to toyota canada, but have been having difficulty locating the specific part number.

Alright, time to brighten up this forum a little bit. Not going to get into much detail but I want to share the news with you guys.

I was born in the U.S when my mom won an scholarship for school coming from Honduras, and when I was 3 years old I moved back to Honduras with my mom. Basically was raised there for 12 years. When I was 15, me and my parents took the hardest decision and decided that I should come back for a better future. This meant leaving my parents and siblings behind, live with relatives until graduating college. It was a tumultuous 7 years, only being able to see my family once a year for shorts periods of time. Then the Army came in, add another 6 years to that. The plan was to graduate college and go back to Honduras, but hey a man makes plans and the universe laughs. Makes it 13 years without my family. Yesterday, my mom was awarded with permanent residency after working more than 18 years with the U.S Gov in Honduras. They are scheduled to permanently move to the U.S in August. I cant begin to describe the joy I feel. Time to recover all that lost time.

Actually there are very few, if any, documents where that is the case. Courts have multiple rulings on scanned documents being as valid as originals, just as copies are valid. There are some circumstances where it may not be true but that typically has to do with how they were scanned, or if they show signs of modification.

Thanks! I've grown fond on this community, always get a good laugh and is awesome to talk about cars and what not. Something that I don't get to do often. So I consider you folks as a kind of family in a way. Plus it's been kind of gloomy lately around here.

I don't have words to describe my appreciation for you and your family's experience. I'm thrilled for your mom, and I'm thrilled that you found us. Bear hugs all around, brother. Those who know me personally will tell you I mean that literally.

I could use some back-cracking hugs!

It is more the ribcage that he compresses that is the most painful.
