Left turns feels like rear camber is changing?

This is weird. At moderate to fast speeds turning left, mid-turn it feels like the rear wants to step out (right).

Turn in, car takes a set. Then suddenly, the rear wants to wash out.

I’m getting my track alignment redone tomorrow. But I’m concerned that something is worn out, or is sticking, then breaking free (spherical joint on the racer x sway bar end links?).

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Can bad toe in rear alignment cause this?

It isn’t reproducible Turning right. Very high speed at the bottom Valkyrie hill at ORP counter clockwise was no problem 2 Sundays ago.

Definitely sounds like a toe problem. You’re alignment guy will tell you right away. Does it behave oddly under braking vs accelerating?

Maybe get your ball joints checked. I had a bad one and the car would feel like the suspension geometry changed mid-corner. VSC light would activate too. We felt like it was steering from the rear and looked for issues with the rear, not the case.

The ball joint could explain the left turn only nature as well.

I haven't noticed it much under braking. Accelerating, yes, as I think about it.

Front ball joint?

The behavior your describing sure sounds like it. I run with the predecessor to the trac box all the times, so my VSC light never comes on.

Front ball joint. It was wobbly loose. Damaged in an incident on track, went unnoticed and got worse over time. Started out feeling like severe bump steer. I guess it was changing the toe by many degrees mid-corner.

Side point for the younger players: When your car doesn't feel right, get it checked. Could've ended very badly for me.

Totally! Turns out the 22mm nut on aftermarket rear toe link was loose. When I was under the car, I didn’t have enough leverage on my own to move the suspension. Once I got a helper to grab and shake the wheel back and forth with me under the car, it became obvious.

I check many nuts and bolts back there before every track weekend, but not those. ANOTHER point on the check list.

Thanks for your help, guys.

P.S. I checked the front ball joints first. They are tight.
