Post What essential items do you keep in your car?

I'm curious to know what 'essential items' the fine people on these forums keep in their vehicles.
Yes, it's also a gratuitous way for a noob like me to get more posts as I'm not super mechanically inclined and feel I have not much to contribute to this community .

I'll start.

Tire pressure gauge
OBD2 bluetooth adapter
Wheel lock key
Jumper cables
Flashlight
Snow brush (during winter)
A few dollars in loose change
Glass cleaner
Paper towels
Pen/pencil
Notepad
Extra pair of shoes
Jacket

And last but not least: HAND SANITIZER!

Edit: Face mask, can't forget that one!

In my limited edition BRZ STd Dual Sport daily driver:

OFT and cables

Receipts.

Empty iced coffee bottles

A spray jacket

3 mismatched socks

A pile of student assignments to be graded

A diecast model of a BRZ

Some old Hillclimb programs

Fire extinguisher

Some handouts of nonsensical flowcharts from a conference

Camera mount

An Aux cord that is incompatible with my phone case

Pens

Oh, and if I'm doing a track day I'll throw in a multi tool and a tyre gauge

I've tried to be a grown up about my car but after 23 years of car ownership I now embrace my inner slob.

My vehicle “essentials” have become minimal in recent years:

Hand Sanitizer
Sunglasses
Pen
Phone Charger
AAA Card
Emergency Kit (small cooler filled with first aid kit, a few plastic bags, spare essential medications, and a roll of tp)

Most of those things plus a loaded .45 ACP, with two extra full magazines.

(I'm too damn old and out of shape to fist fight my way out of a bad situation - )

LMAO! Similar to the vast majority of Canadian's I don't own any firearms. I'd simply just use my legs and run

Well, I just went out and looked. In the trunk of the twin is a trunk organizer with a old bath towel, 2 wine glasses, one of those umbrellas that folds down to about 6 inches long, and a small micro fiber towel.

In the glove box is registration and proof of insurance, a phone mount I bought that I've never used, a stack of napkins the wife grabbed from somewhere we ate, and some random ticket.

1 bottle car wax
1 bottle detailer

wheel lock key
Spare masks
1 can tire dressing
1 clay bar
USB chargers with micro USB and lightning cables

Reading the previous entries and realized having some latex gloves is an excellent idea -I wish I had them when I had to change my tire a month ago.
