I've heard a052s are quicker then ar1s, would be shocking if cr1s were a quicker TT tire then their 100TW counterparts, I'm expecting rs4 like performance from the cr1.

Same. I compared the Yokos A052 to the AR1 on two different tracks, same size, same wheel, same day. Yokos were 0.5 to 1sec per minute faster. I would not hold my breath expecting CR1s to be faster than AR1. Then again, its possible the AR1 was a learning experience and the CR1 brings in more innovation and they plan to phase out the AR1 if it works, or improve the tire (either gear it towards longevity, or even more raw time).

Also, for those wondering about it. The AR1s are simply too heavy for a low powered car. Corner and exit speed was better than the A052, but down the straigh you bled time like crazy. Check this images (green speed number is AR1s, pink is yoko). So dont be surprised if someone else tells you he is faster on AR1s, if the power is not an issue, they might very well be faster.

FYI for anyone on the fence about ordering: Tirerack just pushed the expected availability date for my 660s from March 20th to April ~25th. I placed the original order on March 5th. Figured I'd be good for my late April plans. I'll have the Yokohama rubber in time for the start of autocross for us in Western NY. My May track date? Still TBD depending on how firm that April ETA for the Falkens is.

If you give tire rack a phone call they might be able to ship you falkens from another warehouse. Mention they're for autox/hpde, they want their scca partners happy.

I had that thought-good to know I wasn't too crazy for considering it. With the A052s arriving next week, I'm good for now.
Might miss out on that alternative warehouse idea if I wait and supply is even worse in 4 weeks, but that HPDE isn't until middle of May.

Shipping for the Falkens is now 5/1. Just changed my order to the Yokahame Ao52. Was hoping to get in on the cheap but I have a track day and two day event before than,so paying the extra $60 per tire. Could have gone with the rivals but wanted to try something else, plus 3# lighter per corner

My Yokahama’s arrived , super dusty, the build date was 1/19. Should I be concerned.

The tires are only 2 years old so they should be fine especially if they were stored indoors.
