AT shift knob thread size?

Planning on changing my shift knob to aftermarket one, I do not know the measurements though

The MT is M12x1.25, but the AT is M10x1.25. You also need a knob that is specifically made for AT to keep the shift boot in place. The stock AT knob has a lip on the bottom to retain the boot.

not necessarily, I used an ebay extension under the boot that has a curve that holds the boot and gives a pedestal for any ball type knob you want.

Can't see paying for a new knob you never really touch. I just put a small pink STI sticker on the stocker and it added 0.05HP.

AT = M10x1.25

You can adapt to it and use a lot more options, but the boot retention device is a real thing that you need to consider.

You need to retain it underneath the boot as it controls MT mode (maybe more but thats what I remember)

Agree. Thought about replacing the OEM one, but I like the silver/red stitching look so it matches; and it fits my hand perfectly. But if you want something different go for it.
