Ultimate guide for Airlift Front wheel fitment vs Double Bellow Bag/CUP system

From what I researched, the Airlift front double bellow air bag is roughly 1/2" wider in diameter vs stock struts. 5.5" in diameter to be exact while stock strut/spring is 5" diameter. I currently have coilovers with a CUP system attached to it. The CUP diameter is 4.96" diameter while the coilover itself is 3.5" diameter. I can already verify that I was able to fit a 18x10 +33 wheel up front with 245/35 tire while clearing the CUP system by 1mm at 4.96" diameter (CUP diameter). My assumption is I'll need another 6.35mm (7mm) to clear the Airlift bag if I were to convert to Air suspension now. With that math I can safely say that to fit a 10" wide wheel up front with the Airlift double bellow bag, you will need roughly +26mm just to clear the bag by a hair. Any lower the offset gets will just gain more clearance from the bag. So a safely zone of 18x10 +20 would be ideal to safely clear the bag at all times.

Has anyone figure out a guideline for minimum wheel offset required for 8.5", 9", 9.5", 10", 10.5" wide wheels that will fit up front on both stock fenders, Todoroki 30mm front fender, and Rocket Bunny 50mm front fender.

1 person has confirmed 18x10 +18 to fit at the front with a 225/40R18 tire on stock fender.

Have you been able to confirm this? I'm bagged on airlift struts and believe I'll be running into issues with 18x9.5

I just install my airlift system and depending on where you want the ride height is where the troubles start. I have a 18x9.5 +25 and I have to adjust the threaded part up to clear the bags.

I'm running a 17x9.5 +38, with a 2454017, I believe. I'm getting ready to actually swap the struts out.

I know people have problems riding low, but I should be able to go full air and drive safely while I'm waiting on spacers, new wheels, new tires or what ever I may need right?

Haven't had a chance to get under but aired out I can fit a small stack of papers between my bags and tire on preset adjustments.

I emailed FT86speedfactory and they confirmed that an 18x9.5 +33 with 245/35/18 tires will clear the Air Lift system

I guess I'll find out for sure next week lol

EDIT: Should read 265/35/18

Yup, here's how much clearance there is with it off the ground

It squishes down and out under compression but I haven't heard it rub at all after the first test drive

To confirm:

18x9.5 +43 enkei rs05rr
10mm spacer
265/35r18 Michelin pss

Nice! But what made you go with 265/35 instead of 245/35 like you initially said?

Not really sure why I put 245 in my first post, I've been running 265's square since the spring I'll edit

Ah, I see. I guess if you can do 265's, I can probably do a smaller size without rubbing .. but 18's haven't been a problem at all?

The wheel diameter won't be as much of an issue compared to the wheel width and offset. The wheel/tire sits next to the bag so the main concern is distance between the two. The 265's are pretty beef. Even though they look 'flush", they actually stick out past the wheel a few mm's.

245 would probably angle inwards a bit

Wouldn't mind it sticking out a bit, part of me kind of likes that lol. I guess I'm just getting confused by that thread .. guys were making it seem as though it's 110% impossible to have 18's on a lowered car.

And what do you mean by "angle inward"? As in camber?
