Choosing a tyre brand
Help.
I am procrastinating on a brand of tyre. I would love to get some Michelins, but they are quite pricey in Oz. Got a budget of around $1000 (inc. shipping). After something in a Max Performance or Ultra High. What made you choose your brand of tyre? |

What do you expect out of them? What size? If you want tons of grip, something like the Hankook RS3 is great, but they'll wear fast and aren't the greatest in a lot of rain at highway speeds.

The Continental Extreme Contact DWs are great for pretty much any normal driving and the occasional autocross. You won't trophy or anything but they are some of the best 'compromise' tires out there. They also have a very high treadwear rating.
