Since its been in storage for the winter, had time to install the Velox Transmission Tunnel Cover that's been sitting on my shelf since November. >_<

Velox Transmission Tunnel Cover with custom made 3rd panel

Custom 3rd panel made out of aluminum to finish covering the tunnel

Now to fix the front end from hitting a
furry 14lb bowling ball, on my way back from the SEMA show

more in that later

Racoons suck

In November, on my way back from an Epic 6,249 mile road trip (Sheboygan, WI, to Portland OR, then down the PHC to LA and then over to the SEMA show, then back to shoebottom) I hit a furry 14lb bowling ball.

This will not buff out......

At least I did recover the Decepticon emblem

When the INS adjuster was here, he was saying this would all be easy to replace and not cost that much. lol
A 20 min estimate turn in to him being here 3.5 hours. lol Evidently they have/had no experience with the RS 1.0, cause once he phoned it all in they were all in a tither.

If it was not for the pics of the remnants of the coon, they were trying to insinuate that I hit a curb or a parking block.

Anyhow, new bumper cover and grill and misc other parts are on the way. They are having me send out the front spoiler to have a repair attempted. IDk how that's going to look, anything less then perfect, it will be rejected.

In the mean time, since the font bumper is off, time to install a Mishmoto Oil Cooler and the Greedy Air Intake Snorkle that's sitting on the shelf.

Damn nice undercarriage. Did you notice a difference during highway speeds with drag/noise reduction?

Yes, less noise and gained about 2mpg. The car feels more stable at highway speeds and in cornering too.

While waiting on the bumper cover and front lip to be painted from the racoon damage, had some time this weekend to install the some parts!!

Mishmoto Oil Cooler
Greddy Air Intake Snorkel

Replaced the damaged Hella Horns
Replaced Condenser bug screen

Mishmoto Oil Cooler

The oil cooler was pretty easy install, fun part was getting the lines in a position they were happy about. Not easy bending braided lines, a lil heat from a heat gun helps.

Chose the thermostat sandwich plate at 185/F

Drilled out the drain holes in the lower radiator box panel. They were totally clogged with bugs and crap.

Greddy Air Intake Snorkel

I
cut about an inch off the snorkel so it doesn't hang down so low, to block the oil cooler. left it just low enough to be in position to catch the air flow.

Took some 3/4 in velcro strip and used it as a gasket. The stuff the came with the snorkel was a joke
Fits nice and tight for no leaks. Also channeled out the styrofoam bumper cover support for the snorkel

New Condenser screen

Wating for its clothes

damn racoons

All the stuff laid out

Rear Arm Rest

Pretty simple!

remove seat and unbolt the 2 10mm bolts for the console and pull out the arm rest

The factory glue was not holding so I re-glued it

Installed

Courtesy Lights and Ghost lights

B+ and Ground ran through door boot

Courtesy Lights and Ghost Lights mounted and wired in the door panels

Red LED floor lights for front and rear foot wells

Put a few coats of VHT Nightshades to knock down the brightness

Since there was nowhere to mount them, I made custom brackets for them

Front Drivers

From the Fuse box to the OBDII support bracket

Pass Front

JB Welded this one to the 2 flat spots on the blower assembly

Drivers and Pass Rear

Mounted both to the flap that runs down from the backrest to under the seat, zip ties do the trick. Then ran the wire along with the factory harness.

Finished!

The set up:

Each side is wired to the factory door switch at the BCM and diode isolated

Drivers door opens - Ghost lights, Courtesy light come on there side only, all floor lights on

Passenger door opens - Ghost lights, Courtesy light come on there side only, all floor lights on

Park lights - All Floor lights come on

More things in the works....................soon!

Hi friend sorry for the late reply, but do you have the part number for the center arm rest in the back seats? Or a link to purchasing it

It stops any bugs or other road debris (rocks, dirt chunks, etc) from hitting and damaging the Hella Horns, oil cooler and AC condenser.

Did you mention anywhere how you got the fogs to come on with the parking lights? I have an 860 Special Edition with the factory LED fogs and I'd like to have them work independently of the headlights.

Used a relay off the parking lights wire out of the BCM to trigger them, along with the dash light.

Man its been a year since I did anything to her!!!
Well I am changing that!

Next phase of the interior is starting.

Being a Release Series 1.0, I am going to put my vision as to how the interior should have been made from the factory.

It may have added a lil more cost to it, but I sure ppl would have paid for it.

First up:

Black Suede headliner

And a teaser:

Hand stitching takes time...

Good things are coming.............
