I still have my Peugeot bike from my 18th. Reynolds 531 tubing, weighed 20 pounds when new.

The dealership I dealt with during my recent battery tie-down adventure had basically the same car with no markup.

I looked it over. I definitely see the attraction, but I think I've "outgrown" it.

In my country cyclists have more rights in the streets than anyone else. They think they are the king or owner of the street, even highways. If was a some kind of transportation like in Japan or China... will be more acceptable.

I just did the same thing on my mountain bike, had to swap cassette and derailer. I'm to out of shape for an 11-28 cassette.

That's quite a spread! I have a hard time finding the sweet spot with cadence on a group ride. Solo doesn't really matter to me.

That's cause I'm on 1x. My cadence is pretty flexible for group rides, but I usually gear to a much slower cadence when drafting so I can control my speed better.

I don't even remember the specs on my road bike anymore. It's just sitting collecting dust and spider webs.

So was mine until a couple weeks ago! I'm WAY out of shape.

If I were to use mine again, I'd have to wash it down, and buy new chain lube. Last time I saw, the bottles of chain lube I have looked like they solidified at the bottom. lol. I also need to re-wrap my handles since I went down hard on it one time (bent the handle, popped off the shifter caps, tore the grip, busted my helmet, and blacked out).

I wouldn't trust myself clipped in anymore either. lol
