Freaking weird is right (ichi don't call me a traitor for saying that). Just went to the site with the pics and they had captions with this whole role play dialogue of the car being a boyband pop idol getting a check up from the doctor. Seriously wth.

You weren't lying when you meant high resolution. Lots of detail especially in the headlights and rearlights. Cool post.

wow!

haha ok, so i have a german shephard mix that weighs like 100 lbs, he used to hop into the hatch area on my C5 corvette (back when he was closer to 65lbs) and lie there facing forward comfortably for trips to the park etc. I think that model is probably about 100 lbs so by extrapolation, my pup will likely fit comfortably in the 86...WIN!!

LOL Japan must be an incredibly sexist society, if Scion tried this crap in North America it would generate incredible backlash.

Japan is still a patriarchal society. In Western Society especially in NA, the women and their followers would say something but to the "target consumers(18-30)" men wouldnt mind this kind advertising. This is who the cars are targeted to. I mean how many women are actually interested in buying this car? 2-5/100 of women.

you can go to any magazine shelf in the U.S. and find tons of magazines w/ bikini models lying on cars, right on the cover.

(p.s. i don't think these are toyota/subaru pictures, it looks like a car site that did their own photo shoot)

I was thinking more about the reaction to these if they showed up in mainstream media, ads in C/D, R&T - once you enter redneck territory there are no limits...

Yeah that makes sense, I can't imagine Toyota putting this stuff out there, but how did the photographer get the car?
