Question What are some direct fit replacement options for OEM FRS spoiler?

Hello, I lurked around the FT86Club for a bit and from my understanding changing the OEM spoiler with something that will require minimal work is essentially a Unicorn.

Hopefully I can get some little help here. I found 2 spoilers/wings that seem rather nifty. Both by Ikon Motorsports, Option #1 is probably the most simple to install and it should cover the OEM holes. However I would love Option #2, but I'm gonna guess it's a pipe dream as I would need to have the OEM holes filled in and painted before I can put Option #2.

Any suggestions?

Option #1 - TRD Style:
https://www.ft86motorsports.com/exte...k-spoiler.html

Option #2 GTS Style:

It's for a 2015 Scion FRS.

To me the car is perfect without a spoiler, any spoiler just seems like an afterthought. But if I had to get a spoiler, #1 or any sort of simple lip spoiler over a giant spoiler for sure. I know this car makes insane HP and torque but that wing is just insane...

Stick with a lip.

Plus, I've always hated how that wing looks on this car.

I got it used, so as with any other used car, its what the previous owner chose is what you have. At least I got upgraded Audio, sadly no Nav but oh well.

Well I'm not fan of spoilers but as I got a used car it is what it is. I do like the GTS spec one, but TRD is more affordable plus it should cover OEM holes. I'm also looking at a Ducktail since those look nice as well.

I'm either going to go with that #1 TRD style low profile spoiler or go with a Ducktail, similar to one @Johnny.

The duck tail will require a bit of work, repainting to stock colour, but oh well as long as it covers OEM holes I'm happy.

The new Gazoo Racing spoiler (sold in Japan) should cover the holes.
Edit: no, it doesn’t...

You could always do a trunk swap to open your options.

The Silver FRS seem to be rare around, plus I don't want to go GT wing style. The Option #2 is more or less reasonable, but I want to go Ducktail much more.

direct fit no drilling 2017 brz

Anyone knows what racing wing(not lip or low height spoiler) that requires no drilling by using the existing 2017 brz oem spoiler holes on the trunk cover?

hate drilling the car and want to be able to remove the wing and put the oem spoiler back later.

I agree that low profile spoilers look nice and don't attract too much attention. Does anyone know if the Rocket Bunny V2 ducktail would fit and cover up the holes on newer models like OP has? If that FR-S is any different like the new Toyota 86s, then I'd recommend that to OP if it's an easy fit because to me it looks both aggressive and laid back compared to any wings.
