Im buying one.

I just put $500 deposite on my frs. Hot lava is top color choice. Firestorm is my backup color. They are saying 2 weeks to a month here in south east. Im trading in my 2012 Mazda 3i hatchback. They offering $16,000 tradein the cash diference of about $11,000.

I plan on getting the $2300 painted ground effects kit with spoiler and the Trd exhaust.

2 weeks to a month for an order? I doubt any dealer can swing that
I put down a deposit here in NC and have been told 2-3 months and have heard the same thing from others.

I just put down a deposit for the Hot Lava 6mt yesterday. Won't get it until Aug 1st. Congrats. That Mazda 3 is a great car, my sister has one but it feels "big".

Your dealer is screwing you...every dealer will get 2 to 4 FR-S units per month....but your dealer might already have reserved spots. Just this past week every Scion dealer in San Antonio had some FR-S units....the second shipment....Its also not that hard to get a BRZ, you just have to look a bit harder...

I don't know how many miles you have on the car or any sort of condition or features, but it looks like they're offering less than Blackbook price on a good condition 2011. (see clearbook.com)

They aren't dealing at all on trade-ins. They gave me $18k in my mustang that is worth at least $20k.

My advice to people who have trade ins is to wait until they have them sitting on the lot, that's what I'm doing.

They only offered me $15,800 trade for my 2007 350Z Entusiast. Only 30,000 miles and fully paid off. I was hoping for at least $17-18k, I was a little insulted to be honest. Especially when I've seen 05s with 60,000 miles sell for $17,000. The 07 is such a better year for the Z too. I guess dealerships aren't to aggressive with trades in this economy

What you need to do is go to carmax and see what you can get for it. If it's more, just sell it and have a friend take you to the dealer and throw a bigger down payment. Don't let the dealer screw you

Funny you bring that up. I actually went to carmax before any dealer, and they offered me $14,000 for the Z. Lmao. Im just gonna sell it private party.
