Got it figured out

Had an exhaust leak at the header collector
Found multiple engine mount bolts were slightly loose
Neither of those issues surprise me after 20k+ miles of the swap, and correcting them made the idle much better.

For good measure I also smoke tested the intake system and my TB bolts are still good to go

I posted this in my build, but it might help someone here.
For those of you are installing an ATI superdamper, I had this adapter made to be able to torque the crank bolt down while holding the damper. I'd be happy to loan it out if anyone needs it.

Hopefully you didn't pay more than this:

The ATI damper doesn't use that style interface.

Alright I'm not sure what I trust less, their documentation or quality control.

This is their instructions.

However, one of the holes is where the dowel pin is so I'm guessing it's a misprint and the m12 goes on the intake side (aka: the starter) or is my adapter really missing a tapped hole?

I'm not reading a problem.

Were you able to thread two flange bolts in on the exhaust side because I wasn't.

I realized you were talking about the engine to adapter and not adapter to transmission, and n second thought, I recalled having this same question. I think I got an email response from Kpower about it. Maybe I mentioned it in my build.

I just confirmed by looking at my engine, and there is just the one bolt going from the exhaust side through the engine and into the adapter

Confirmed with Kpower it's a misprint.

And it turns out my flywheel is missing the alignment pins and pilot bearing.

*Edit, I guess it was missing the pilot bearing too. They sent out a new one.

Oh wtf. I just called them today to get some flywheel alignment pins since mine were damaged by the pressure plate coming apart.

Probably going to have some machined since they don't stock them and told me that they'd have their supplier send some but I am in a time crunch.

When I measured mine (aluminum flywheel) I got something like:
Pressure Plate Side - 5.83mm OD, 8.5mm length
Flywheel Side - 6.90mm OD, 10mm length

I haven't seen a very good weight comparison of the engines outside of a lot of speculation.

Couple of caveats:
-Header not installed on either engine. (FRS=~20lbs)
-The starter was installed on the K24 and not the Fa20 (since it lives on the trans. +6lbs to the fa20)
-I won't be running A/C so that is not present on the K24
-Both engines had flywheel, clutch disk and pressure plate installed. The K24 included the trans. adapter.
-Neither engine has oil in it
-Subtract 10lbs on each engine for the leveler and chains

So subtract the AC from the FA20, and maybe a fifteen pound difference.

I feel like this was expected some. I was saying at one point that the main differences in weight was going to be the aluminum flywheel, aluminum driveshaft, header, no cats, etc. The engine was going to be a minor difference, but thanks for confirming.

If anyone runs into issues with the flywheels and needs new alignment dowels or friction surfaces it turns out AASCO Motorsports makes them - https://www.aascomotorsports.com/collections/all

Also, the OEM pilot bearing fits into the flywheels.

KPower was nice enough to have AASCO send me a set of 3 dowels after my pressure plate came apart and damaged them.

I pulled my motor yesterday to swap in another one and noticed the pan had been rubbing on the subframe, worth clearancing for anyone that doesn't have their motor in yet.
