Exclamation SB17-067 Leakage countermeasure for VALVE ASSY OIL CTRL 2013-2017

SB17-067 Countermeasure for VALVE ASSY OIL CTRL 2013-2017
Solving Internal oil leakage with new 10921AA241
Check part as described.

I changed the lower drive side one thus had a oil leakage generating some VVT code.

sometimes may occour VVT DTC code if conductivity is poor. I got VVT DTC code and solved this way, you need ring and back ring too when change.

I noticed my left hand side upper OCV sensor has this oil contamination in the electrical plug connector.

I haven't gotten a CEL yet, and it's been roughly 3,000 miles since I noticed.

I bought a spare OCV sensor to have on hand, should I change it out now? Or wait till a CEL to eventually come on to replace the sensor?

On a side note, I always use dielectric grease on all my engine harness connectors to prevent corrosion from the elements (if they don't have a rubber/silicone weather seal in the plug), wouldn't this oil contamination have the same effect as dielectric grease?

@Sigh-on-Rice I think this warrants being added to the sticky

I had this replaced without a TSB a few years back. I had no check engine light or any drive-ability issue. I only saw an oil leak seeping out.
