I suggest you call PG&E, they will come out and light it for you.

If they don't want to, just tell them you smell gas at your place! -

I'm on shift on the floor and once again we brought too much food for today with the minimal manning, we have this one sour guy who was "i dont celebrate thanksgiving, cause it celebrates enslavement and persecution of the natives"

and Im like whoa there tiger, slow your role. you can still enjoy turkey and mac n cheese and not support thanksgiving.

second all (him being cuban) makes him a direct descendant of the Spaniards ( unless he is 100% islander, which he isnt) and its the Spaniards themselves who have gone around conquering untitled lands. So his accusation on "white" people dislocating others for their own sake, and his boycott in the food, is directly re-translated on his own eating of spanish food today, in light of his own history.

it got me bent. I celebrate today at its face value, a day to come together after a hard year of working and being thankful for my two hands and two feet, a warm bed, and full belly

I counted to 10 and posted this, and i feel little better.

oh and i just got a rare gurney flap for m y 17 brz limited from a kid in san luis obispo, and my girl is out with her family and shes spearheading festivity efforts and is main culinary specialist. Am proud. Now im gonna take my hairy pink italian ass off line and do some rounds.

i've learned that all major celebratory dates in history have a very negative histories if one chooses to look for it.

as you said, it's a choice to celebrate for the right reasons. i enjoyed meeting up with family and relatives i haven't seen in a while. and i always enjoy food.

now i'm looking forward to christmas, where i can hopefully track down some obscure but interesting item for my families party, and then also track down something for the nephews. and then also, there'll be food.

In truth most everything in history is the result of someone acting "selfishly" for the sake of their own "tribe" and the losers will do everything they can to call the winners out on it and make them seem like the bad guy

I got so damn sick and tired of the "white man" jokes about taking over the world, enslaving people, coming to new lands.

Like you realize spain, china, any country between egypt and china, all had their own negative movements. hell India probably has the worst right now between their natives.

and at the same time the English speaking nations havent done anything but try to connect the world together and prevent wars.

theres also this youtuber talking about how we should raise taxes to take care of veterans cause there are so many suicides and blah de blah,

completely missing the point when i commented that raising taxes just lines the ruling elites pockets and the help we need we are gonna get by those non for profits we start.

down with the government

as a government employee
