Air Intake data

Hello Everyone! I am compiling some data and if you all could please post in this thread which Air intake system you have, how long it took you to install, and what you think about it that would be awesome! Dyno sheets, actual net horsepower gain or any other information is welcome!
Thank you in advance!

Cosworth drop in filter - 5min
Perrin silicon intake tube - 10 min. Maybe another 10 min with removing sound gen crap.

Don’t need more than this. Gets you most of any gains. But others will tell you how there expensive intakes helped the sound.

Not my dyno, but I do have a TRD intake as well via Black Friday sales.. Took maybe 30mins to install.

194hp with K&N drop-in and silicone tube, and Mobil 0W40 oil.
200hp with TRD intake, and Millers 5W40 NT oil.
Both setups were dyno tuned according to the OP.

Stock airbox w/snorkel mod, silicone intake with all resonators deleted and K&N when NA

Then....Stock airbox with snorkel mod, silicone intake with AVO turbo and K&N when boosted.

The silicone intake was only because I wanted to remove to sound maker tube.

The airbox isn't a restriction, marketing will say otherwise.

Shop smart

Sharp intake of breath, don't we already have a similar thread about CAIs and how they boost your egos.. btw, I have a Takeda, a tune and I love it.. no idea if it's doing anything to the power but the car revs more easily..

Stock intake with K&N drop in filter. Noise tube delete. Phantom ESC between the filter box and intake manifold. Took about 45 minutes to install.
Butt dyno says much more power and no torque dip.

I'm interested in this too and like everyone else above mentioned I don't think the stock airbox is a restriction on the BRZ. I'll probably just save my money and get the one that comes with most supercharger kits.

Grimmspeed CAI. Took about 45 mins to install. I also have modded snorkel. It feels faster and no torque tip but that is probably the butt dyno.
