Hi guys recently discovered this beauty, anyone have any info or thoughts on this intake manifold seems promising able to "boost stock rpm7200 to 8000rpm".link here https://www.nengun.com/jun/gt-surge-tank-for-ft86-brz

Yeah found it also. Wonder what the HP gain is for a N/A. Not a bad way to spend 351,000 JPY..

Even if hp gains are less, ability to rev higher is good by itself, due enabling of longer being in lower gears. Though this looks not so much enabling reving higher (which i guess would rather need extra stronger engine internals, like in some more boosted FI setups with rebuilt engines), but rather changing intake manifold design to skew optimisation to top rpm range (probably hurting low rpm/mid rpm performance). Am i wrong?

If you change the title to intake Jun Intake Manifold you may get a bit more interest in this thread.

The intake isn't the biggest problem for the rpm limiter; it's the valvetrain. No way in hell will I run 8k redline on stock springs.

The translation is very rough.
So, it's an intake manifold with tuned runner diameter and length for a volumetric efficiency peak at higher than stock RPM. "Surge tank" is a poor translation. If max VE, and max torque stays the same, but moves higher in the Rev range, the percent increase in horsepower will be equivalent to the percent increase in RPM for peak torque, because of how horsepower is calculated.

Might be closer to $6k as I'm getting it installed and car retuned as well. Gonna put my TODA T/B on for dat throttle response :P
I'll be very happy if I manage over 15hp tbh lol Car already has *most* of the N/A and response mods you could think of - HKS EL Headers, MOTIV overpipe, CBE will be changing out to HKS Single Racing Version(3in) - HD Clutch, 10.5lbs flywheel - CF driveshaft - 4.556 final drive - Lightest 18's you can get(TWS T66F) at any rate, it will be a good supporting mod for when I go turbo later on
