Brake flush and ABS

Does anybody use OBD computer to pump ABS to completely flush fluid out of the system? Is it even necessary on our cars? (Friend with a Corvette mentioned it and can't find any info on the twins.)

Did your friend also suggest you get some blinker fluid at the auto store when you buy new brake fluid?

I've never done it. I usually flush every 2nd or 3rd track events, never any issues.

If you are worried about air in the abs pump the old school way of doing it is to take the car onto a slick surface like a wet, icy, or dirt road. Then activate abs repeatedly and it will bleed itself eventually.

Might do that just to be sure, but allegedly the goal is getting as much old fluid/moisture out as possible.

If you are doing brake fluid changes regularly, done worry about it. If you brake fluid has not been changed for 10 years and you are going to a track day tomorrow it may help.
