Meaty Tire Thread

I have 255/35/18 Michelin super sports on 18x9.5+45. I also have the SPL control arm, and other tid bits. Do you think I will need to give a minor roll to my fender?

Not sure yet, haven't gotten it off the lift. I was asking out of curiosity of what to expect. I don't think I will rub though

Will do! I went back and re read the first post, and I'm almost certain I won't rub. (Aside from the tab on the front bumper).

My friend is running 18x9.5 +45, 255/35 Michelin PSS, Ohlins coilovers, unrolled fenders with no rub even on hard turns, he only rubs when he is turning full lock to the right getting out of a parking! Funny that I noticed this too as I run same setup but on Goodyear, I just don't turn it full lock.

I am running SPC arms and they have slipped once. I am going to machine spacers for them as I leave them at a set spot, and fit those spacers in on either side so there's no chances of them slipping.

600 ft lbs would put you roughly at 700ish whp. assuming thats wtq. Goodluck with anything but Mickey's or non-DOT's breaking loose. Oh and dyno please when it comes to light

because your offset is low you should go no wider than 255/35, especially if you go with the type of tire you describe, most run wide, and if you want to not rub, without running crazy camber and actually have a somewhat okay handling car.

Do you think i'll need a fender roll knowing my offset? had the direzza zii priced at $1300 in Canada.

Took a ride in Crawfords BRZ today and holy shit! We went sideways a couple of times lol. I asked Quirts son and he said the car is at 25 psi. Not sure if that's what I'm gonna be at. Changed my mind from r888 to falken azenis 275's. Getting fenders rolled as well. Here's my build.

Yeah i don't have any idea what that would be if I didn't know the turbo. Plus 600. Ft lb of torque with even higher hp would spin you around, not just get sideways.
