Read through this thread. Good information.

Also, i'm curious what you think, do you think I will run into rubbing if I go with a 1.25-1.5" drop?
Yeah lower offset pushes the wheel out toward the fender, I would probably pick a different wheel rather than running spacers for sure. I'm lowered about 2" or more and have no rubbing lock to lock. Up to 255/35/18 typically doesn't rub as long as you have a reasonable wheel size.

If you don't want to run wide wheels you could probably do 18x8 +35ish and it would look pretty good on coilovers. If you were lowered 1.5" I think the top of the wheel would be slightly sunken but the bottom would be flush because of natural camber. Visually speaking my 18x9.5 +38 setup is flush at the top but pokes out the fender ever so slightly at the bottom, giving that aggressive look. BUT on stock suspension w/ no camber, they poked a ton so don't be alarmed if you get the wheels on before your coils lol.

The thing is you can't really get the concave face wheels in anything smaller than a 9" wide, that's just my personal preference when I get wheels. Here's a booty shot with my fitment:

I love spacers. I am running them on 3 out of 4 cars I own now. I have 34 spacers of different sizes now. I have never had a problem with any of them.

For the 18x8 +43 wheels. I would suggest a 20mm front and a 25mm rear bolt on spacer.

Lowering the car will only "suck in" the wheels a couple MM. It's really not that much.

You only get a usable amount of natural camber in the rear after lowering your car. You will want a way to add some negative camber in the front; like camber bolts or camber plates. Bolts are the easiest and least expensive solution.

I agree it is not ideal to run spacers. But, even after getting wider 9" wheels, I was unhappy with the way they looked. So, I added a 5mm's, then 10mm's, then 12mm's, and finally 15mm spacers. Anyway, with extended studs all around to accommodate slip style spacers, I finally have the flush fit I was looking for. ( I feel slip are better than bolt on, but bolt on are WAY easier to install)

Well I had the typical 20mm front/25mm rear spacers on my car with the stock wheels and wanted to see how the HyperGrams would look pushed out. The 20mm there is too much of the stock studs sticking out and not enough cut out behind the wheel so they wont mount at all. Without cutting down the stock studs.

I don't know if all Konigs are this way but it is on the Hypergrams. You would have to go 25mm front/30mm rear with the possibility of too much poke.

Hence why the second time around im just going right to a 9" wide wheel with 35-40 offset to fit right without spacers.

Good to know about the Hypergrams.

So, 25mm all around would work fine then. Also, 30mm rear spacer would work with springs. Here is a 17x8 +15 wheel all around. I think it looks great.

Thanks for all the responses and help!

I haven't been around due to work but have narrowed the wheels down to one of these two.

I am ordering Racecomp Yellow lowering springs and was curious if anyone had any experience on whether the +38 or +33's would fit better in terms of flush with my car due to the lowering. I wanted to get a lower offset than the +43's. I've heard from a few that the mid 30's are a sweet spot when lowering it with the springs and would work well with the camber?

Well in your two choices the top one is 9.5 wide vs 8.5 on your bottom link. THe top selection will sit out 8mm more playing with a wheel offset calculator .

I am looking into the 9.5's but don't think 265 width tires would fit without rubbing issues. I am more so worried about rubbing more than anything and don't exactly have a solution that would solve this, so instead i am more than likely going to go 8.5 with 235/40's and with lowering springs and see how I like the fit.
