Is that with the seat all the way down though? It goes lower now to the point that you can’t get your toes under it from the back seat anymore. That review I do remember: it was Driving Sports guy with the cringey title pic.

It was in the whole mess of ‘em that I binged when they came out a couple weeks ago, don’t remember which one but it wasn’t any of our sub-6 buddies like Maran or Sufyan or the former Stig

Based on the spec sheet? Or have you sat in one?

On paper, a 2016 Mazda 6 has 38.4" of headroom compared to 37.1" of 2017 BRZ.
I sat in every 2016 Mazda 6 trim, and in every one of them my head was touching the ceiling even without a helmet.
There's no way I could sit with the helmet on.

Meanwhile in the BRZ I never touch the ceiling with my head, and can mostly fit with the helmet on.

Spec sheet.

I'd suggest that the difference between cars is going to be down to how they measured it, and sure they can be totally different.

However, I wouldn't think that Subaru changed its methodology, and therefore I think its fair to expect it to be .1 of an inch lower because its relative to its own product, not another product.

I have heard that the seats now sit even lower than before, so potentially it could balance out if the measure is not related to seat Hight.

Yeah, I don't know if I'd trust the .1" of difference on the spec sheet.

We're talking about measuring distance from something that easily moves by a few mm (ceiling)
to something that is literally designed to squish as you sit (the bottom of the seat).

Sounds even more inconsistent to measure on the same car using the same methodology than MPG to me.

Well it's obviously doug was never the best driver But i think S2k feels faster once Vtec hits compare to gradual climb of the FA24.

Wait till you see the silver with STI bodykit, it's fire.

Anyone have an idea when we well start seeing full BRZ reviews? I know Matt Farah has one right now but wasn't sure if there is another embargo date or what.

I don't think there's an embargo it's just a limited amount of cars they can send to journalists. Doug Demuro made a video already and I know SavageGeese said he wasn't getting his till I think early october.

We’re talking BRZ, not GR86
