Haha, that would be interesting. I wonder if we painted it black if they would even notice...Well, besides the MAP logo we plan on welding onto it.

I seriously doubt they would put the extra quart in.

We are now taking pre-orders for our oil pans! Retail will be $499. We are getting all of our ducks in row to start production. Please PM me for more info, or if you would like to get on the pre-order list.

Just wondering why you've increased the oil capacity?

or is the plan here to fill to the same oil level and lower the oil level in the sump to help reduce windage?

If so do you also include a longer oil pickup?

The main reason we did it is for cooler oil temps. It won't be drastic, but anything in this car will help. It can sometimes aid in more constant oil pressure. But we also needed more room for our windage tray. A new oil pickup wont be needed. Our pan is the same depth as the stock one, its just overall wider and does not taper as much as the stock one.

We are about 2 weeks from getting all of the materials in for our oil pans, and plan on shipping these another week after. We are playing with the idea of offering a group buy if we have enough interested people. I know I have one counted for from a member on here, but please let me know if anyone would like to jump on! Initial group buy price will be $399. I will get some updated pics of the final production model as soon as we have one completed
