Just got my Samurai Shift Knob.

I got the 8inch version (also available in 6 and 10) from Jon Motoring. Looks like they get theirs from DND Motorsports, but ship it for free and all.
It's made out of pretty solid material, Probably aluminum or some metal, not sure specifically, but it's a nice weight (which I prefer) and feels very sturdy. Screws in just fine.

First picture is before screwing it in properly and second is after its straightened.
Please excuse my dusty interior.

After I unscrewed and rescrewed it in properly.

Impressions:
I love it. Everyone I've showed it to so far really digs it. However, it's probably not for everyone as I saw a lot of hate going around for their original post advertising the knobs. It is a little strange holding the handle when shifting as opposed to your palm facing down and shifting a spherical object. I think it definitely makes the interior look nice, more for show than anything of course. I don't find it to be too intrusive or distracting, but I'm sure the 10inch would be.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to up the interior look of the car or is into super Asian Japanese samurai culture shit. Yeah.
Call it rice if you'd like!

-Bought from JonMotoring.Com for around 75$ shipped.

This would probably be cool if you are a 12 year old white kid that watches Dragon Balls.

I would honestly prefer it as an E-brake. Would fit the kind of katana sheathing motion / strike a bit better too. As a shifter, I'm not too fond of it.

Again, based on comments of their original post, I saw a lot of people who didn't like it, I personally like it a lot.

I wonder how the feel would be as opposed to a regular shift knob. Definitely something different, that's for sure.

Very, it's at a different gripping angle and higher up too, shifting from second to third is a bit idk to me lol makes me nervous but yah.

Haters are gonna hate, regardless of what you do to your car. As long as you like it, that's what matters. I also picked up the 8" in the same color as yours.

Last night I was messing around with it and the short shifter I got in the mail yesterday, but for the life of me I can't get to to screw on properly. What did you do to get it right?
