Frs no crank no start, radio, clock, and window switches not working

Hey guys so being the idiot that I am i forgot to disconnect the negative battery cable while working on my car. No mods were added i just wanted to clean up the bay a little and while taking off a bolt, the ratchet sparked. Now when i go to try and start the car, there is literally nothing happening and to add on, the radio, clock, and windows arent working. Ive checked all the fuses and the battery tested good. Any other ideas?

Which fuses did you check? Both inside the car and engine bay?

Does cluster come on?

I checked every single fuse even if they're not associated to the problems i'm having. I went through and checked continuity at every point. The cluster comes on just the radio, clock and windows don't opperate.

Well, Sumtingwong (are you putting us on with that forum name - ) .... even so, welcome to our forum -

There is a couple of big fuse looking things under the red cover on the positive battery terminal, you may wish to check to see if either or both of those are blown.

You do realize there are two fuse blocks, one under the dash and one under the hood?

Come back.

Allow me to ring up ol @soundman98 for you, he is pretty smart about these electrical things. He may not respond till morning, or till he gets his burnt finger out of his glass of vodka tonic after burning it lighting off fireworks -

Also, you may wish to check out the appropriate relay.

glad you found it, as I was going to just post to look at those, but decided to read and see if you found it yet

If you ground out a main terminal like you did with your wrench, every car since who knows when has a main fuse like this in order to keep you from frying anything important. Sometimes those main fuses are expensive tho. Hope yours(mine too I suspect) isn't too spendy
