Eyewitness reports say Hawaii got theirs today. They are currently prepped and at dealers.

Oahu.

In related news, dealerships have been posting vins of tS’s. So far, the lowest I can find is 0025, a white one. 0021 was the LA autoshow car. Highest vin I’ve found is 0546, so I’m guessing the 100 Canadian cars are mixed in. 0030, 0031, 0032, 0037 And 0040 are all Crystal Black Silica.
I also managed to find 0429, the car built directly after mine.
It seems like based on the VINs, subaru built the tS’s first, before the standard ‘18’s.
Also, dealers in Ohio, Texas, and North Carolina have some of their cars marked down by $2k, whereas some dealers in California have them marked up by $500. A dealer in Colorado has a $2500 markup.

$5000 mark-up here in the Bay Area from the dealers who are actually known to give the lowest prices on some of the higher volume cars like Outbacks and Foresters

Serveco posted pics on Instagram of a Crystal white pearl on their lot this morning, so they’ve got at least one. Good hunting!

Yeah, the salesman tried to pull a fast one on me after I asked him the final price after DMV fees. He said he "didn't know what the owner was going to ask for those yet". So I was like trying to indirectly ask him to say it so I asked him if he didn't know how much he wanted to sell the DMV fees for...yesterday I gave him the number I came up with (MSRP + DMV fees he gave me that he said were a close estimate) and he said "well, the owner is going to sell those for $4500 just like RA's they have sold but he talked him down to only $2k over...I said no...you told me what the price was going to be when I talked to you originally and through the order process I even asked you what the final price would be on the car. He tried to say well "I was just telling you what the MSRP was not what it was going to be sold for
but can understand where that was misinterpreted but I talked to him and he said he will help you out with selling at MSRP" stand your ground!...salesmans can be weasels watch out!

When the tS was announced in June, I emailed my manager saying I wanted it. Since I got my HyperBlue at my dealer I thought it was no problem. I had the car on a Sold Order status since December and did the paperwork a few days ago.

After all that, the managers tried to make a bargain with me to forego the car I had been waiting for because we have a number of customers interested in solely the White one, obviously ready to pay more than I did.

Luckily, I was able to spot which dealer had one freshly delivered because our sales network platform. It worked out, and my managers even gave me the day off to get it.

I was able to catch it right before they washed and removed the plastic too!

So here it is, my 2018 Subaru BRZ tS!!!

The carbon wing in "white" actually looks quite nice!

Wow, congrats man! Way earlier than expected! How far did you have to go to get it? Wonder if that means mine will be coming in a couple weeks before the ETA of the 3/6...
