Shiv, can the Procede controller be programmed to control anything else while it's controlling the ESC? (Nitrous, water/meth injection, exhaust dump valve, or etc.)

Next paycheck I will probably order the Procede and OFT as well, if possible. I want the last thing I need to wait on to be the actual SC

Technically it can, as I've heard it has multiple input / output channels? Just like any PLC I'm assuming. Implementation wise may be another story.

The Procede has 4 digital outputs that can be configured to trigger shift-light, additional injectors, meth/boost control solenoid, etc. Currently, with the ESC, we aren't using any of them. Just a single analog output (it has 4 of those available as well). But setting all these extra features up requires some work so that you don't have conflicting I/Os. We aren't touting those additional features for this reason. But it is very likely that we will be enabling add-one as time goes by.

@shiv

Is the ESC activate by rpm or from tapped dbw?
How many levels of ESC activation can the procede be set at?
Example
50% - 60% = 1psi
60% - 70% = 2psi
70% - 80% = 3psi
80% - 100% = max psi

The ESC is 3 dimensionally mapped as a function of RPM and DBW throttle. The throttle:ESC DC% relationship varies with engine speed. The ESC control signal ranges from -100 to 100 with minimum active ESC DC% (barely spinning) right around -20. By ~80, the ESC is spinning at maximum speed. So there are ~100 levels of activation possible (-20 to 80).

Shiv
This Procede thingy just gets better and better, so glad Iv'e ordered one.

Shiv@Openflash Will there be an airflow straightener available for the FRS/86 similar to the one you have in the Miata/MX5 or is it not necessary?

Funny enough, the GT86 airbox already has an airflow straightener integrated into it just upstream of the MAF. Very nice!

Still can't get it exactly centered. I feel like the tube between the airbox and compressor is a little bit too long.

I agree with you. If it were me, I would take some tin snips or equivalent and cut 1/4'' off of the tube. Just make sure the PVC connector has room and won't hit the intake box before you do (intake box side of the connector looks a little longer from the fitting).
