truck is in the shop for the foreseeable future. deer suck. i support hunters rights.

i spotted the first deer crossing the road at full gallop, was on the brakes the second i saw it, and safely avoided it, then a second sneak-attacked me from behind... craziest part is this was on a 5-lane main road, in the industrial/commercial part of town full of concrete and car dealerships...

insurance says it's $4500 in damages so far, mostly in replacing the rear door.

12 years ago today. The First86 Group in Long Beach, CA to be the first ones to test drive the FRS. I'm the guy in blue knelt down by the passenger side front fender.

For those that don't know there are large threads on hear about the trip, and the various other activities we participated in.

I loved every minute of the 230K miles with my 2013 Firestorm. (Well except maybe the twice it got hit, and the once it left me stranded due to a busted battery tie-down).

I have no idea how many of the remaining First 86 are still on here. There was a very large number of us at one point.

I almost had the same thing happen on the way home the other day. First deer in front, luckily the second deer slowed down and avoided the car.

That sucks. I went on a drive a couple weeks ago and was just thinking how I hadn't seen any deer so far all drive and then right around a blind corner one had just finished crossing the road .

One time I came around a blind corner to a deer presumably dead in the middle of the lane with no one else around.

Hit and run, then, probably? Aren't you technically supposed to report that stuff?

Idk. Entirely possible that they didn't notice if it ran into a truck. I reported it at least.

I could have stared at this forever. 28cly, integrated super charger fed by a single carb. 4600hp/4600ci. The cam system is really cool. I bet you get a lot better valve control with such a big gentle lobe.
