Any referrals for shop in Thurston or Pierce Counties -- that would work on FRS? I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing to mount a lip on front bumper.

Not that hard man. Most lips you can clip on and then use the screws and washers it comes with to bolt them on. I would say YouTube it. I wouldn't go to a shop just to put a lip on. You can save that money on a part.

Speedzone in Lakewood, WA sells lips as well as installs them.

I was in the area... stopped by... talked to them about install... price quote is VERY reasonable... and I'll heading up there this morning for the install.

Once this puppy is on, I'm just going to have to be REALLY careful with curbing -- and -- entering/exiting driveways.

Update.... great guys @ Speed Zone... I'll be going back there for some other work...

Lip installed in less than 30 minutes...

I know... I know... my schedule and the meet-up schedule have just not played well together! Soon tho....

And of course.. there IS the BIG meet in July.... can't wait!

Paid another visit to Speed Zone... had them put 35% tint on the side windows... to:

1) help with the whole "fish bowl" thing
2) help cut down on cabin heat (during this freaking heat wave!)

Liking the look... should have done this a couple of years ago. And yes, I'm pleased with with workmanship and the price. Nice touch... lifetime warranty on product and install....

I'm a firm believer of "Less is more..." -- but... it takes SO much self-control! (And checkbook status is always a great limiter!) I figure I'll have this rig for a while... want to do some HPDE after I beef up the binders... (next mod).
