Here's another thing about those cheap towels that will drive you crazy. If that thing hits the ground and there are leaves around, those leaves will embed themselves into the towel and you will have to pick for days to get all the tiny bits of leaf out. If you don't get them all, one of those tiny leaf bits will scratch the crap out of your paint. Talk about hideous, I wouldn't use those China made towels wipe my butt!
Damnit man, I've been using Autozone microfiber towels for waterless wipedowns. I've noticed the leaf issue a few times. I toss those in the trash. The rest I thoroughly wash on sanitary in the washer with some Purex. I haven't noticed swirls yet on the BRZ, but I've probably been lucky that nothing embedded in the towels yet.

Now dings and chips in the front bumper from freeway driving is a whole other issue I'm trying to sort out. Is there a good way to work those out or fill them in somehow? They don't go down to the primer. It's like the clear gets pitted from semis, pickups, and other big trucks throwing up tiny bits of gravel.

Picked up 5 eagle edgeless orange towels, 1 of their 26x36 drying waffle weaves, a 10 pack of their super plush blues for 30$, 2 of their glass and window microfibers and 2 of their metal polishing microfibers.

Can't wait to get em in.

Google Dr. Colorchip and the Langka system. Either product will work for you but ONLY if you follow the manufacturer's instructions TO THE LETTER.

You were shopping like a PIMP!

I don't know the quality of all those other towels that you bought so you will have to let us know how they are. The Rag Company does sell some cheap utility towels that are China made so hopefully, you didn't buy any of those.

I stuck to the detail master pro spec items - each listed they were korean microfiber. So no, no more china made crap. lol.

However, the eagle edgeless has a 500 Grams per Square Meter weight.

The super plush 10 pack has the same 500 grams weight.

The window and metal polish towels I got are 300 gram weight. Not as "heavy" but they won't be touching paint. With that being said, I got them as they look pretty cool (glass towels have one side corduroy for wiping clean and plush side for buffing) and wanted to check em out.

The waffle weave I got for drying is this one: http://www.theragcompany.com/Dry-Me-...09-2959-OW.htm

It mentions
360 Grams per Square Meter (Premium Grade Waffle-Weave).

I'll post my findings once I get them. I already have shipping information.

Microfiber Madness has the number 1 towels and wash mits in the world in some of their categories. Multiple award winners. Made in Germany, Each come individually wrapped. Visit Carpro-us.com he is a microfiber madness vendor in the states. Free shipping with 40 dollar orders I think. I have two of their waffle weaves and their glass towel and their crazy pile (#1 towel in the world in its category).

Otherwise, go to microfiber tech. Their 600 and 700 gsm are awesome. Even their 360 gsm feel great. Shipping is dirt cheap and when bought in bulk the price comes down substantially. Just got 3 360gsm including shipping for 9 bucks. Silk banded, dual pile, made in chine but so what.....

Again, check out microfiber madness (buy them through carpro-us.com) or microfiber tech.

Remember, dont have to go crazy all at one, pick up a few towels every few weeks and build your collection.

Since I have never used anything from these companies, I can't vouch for them (especially this #1 in the world claim - haven't seen that posted anywhere on any detailing forum I frequent). So I'm going to go with what I've touched, used and tested and that would be exactly what I showed in my video.
