Its the correct hose for the c30 kit.
Well now you know you'll need that too at least and not get the 38 and not be able to use it due to this.

I am in contact with the vendor, the problem will be fixed without me spending anything but time.
I am in no rush, the car is parked for the winter and the motor is in pieces.

Damn winter. I have my kit ready to install but we have almost 5 feet of snow on the ground and sub 0 temperatures. Nothing left to do but .

I hear ya, so much snow here. I have gone through the entire kit countless times. Should have my tune from @moto-east anytime now then I'm ready to rock

Ok, so I bought the kit for Xmas and now I am buying the remaining stock that I need.

My questions for you guys:

1. How do you monitor? (gauge, OBD2 wifi with tablet, ...)

2. What do you monitor: Boost, air/fuel ration, Coolant temp, oil temp, ...?

3. Do you need an engine oil cooler? Since it is not using the oil from the engine like a turbo, I think the oil temp should not become way more hot than N/A.

Thanks

Engine stock when you spun the bearing? How many KM's?

I've come across too many "spun bearing" posts recently.

21000km NA with boltons&tune.
I posted some pictures in this thread a while ago.
I think i found the reason. A cover that seals up the oilports leading to the oil filter was loose.

Different people will monitor different things, My friend is running oil pressure and temp with Defi gauges along with AFR and Boost with a AEM failsafe gauge. I run just the AEM Failsafe with the lcd screen showing AFR and the led bars showing pressure. I use my Ecutek when i want to know temps.. For me here in Vegas my DD oil temps didnt change.. on a track im sure it would. but my style of driving i have no issues with temp. I do plan on running the Skunk2 ultra radiator that also has a oil cooler built in. but based on the heat of summer last year, it didnt change.. BUT a lot of people claim the oil temp gets high stock under brisk driving so it would not hurt to get one

Belt

When im in 1st at a stop i hear the belt make a noise. Once rolling it goes away it doest sound normal at every other time i dont hear it. I believe my belts to loose. I tried tightinging it with the 21mm thumb rule but the pulley does move anywere when adjusting. Am i missing something. C38 by the way other than that love the kit so far. Im just moving the bolt and the nut on the plate is there something else.

I'm on a c30 but I can tell you their 21mm rule isn't accurate.

You first have to loosen the 14mm nut on the idler pulley. Then the 13mm jam nut on the adjuster bolt. Then use the 12mm bolt to adjust tension

You have to loosen the pulley bolt for the plate to slide freely.
