Automatic Trunk Opener?

As we know, if you use the trunk release button (at least on the limited BRZ, not sure about other cars) to open the trunk, all it does is it releases the trunk ever so slightly so you can pull it up the rest of the way to open it fully.

With cars like an A4, any trunk button I press opens the trunk completely, all the way. Although it's an unnecessary luxury, this is something that I've become accustomed to having and I feel the need to have that . I hate having to pull the trunk door up.

Is there any way I can get this done?

Anything's possible. You could get it done at a custom car shop I'm sure.

It's so weird the other cars in my household have automatic trunk openers and I find them annoying for a reason that I don't quite remember and I like the FRS trunk release better

Think the easiest and cost efficient way would be a stronger air shock to replace the OEM one. It'll need some custom work though.
(Or whatever the air shock is called.)

Unfortunately it'd also entail more than just a stronger strut. The geometry of the trunk hinge is such that the direction the strut points in doesn't provide any opening force at all. The first bit of opening the trunk barely extends the strut.

I guess it's time to start drilling holes and retrofitting the A4 trunk hinges and mechanism into my car

Hence the absurdness of your question. I get it that it's convenient, however you need to also consider if this type of modification is even possible given the angle of the lift of the trunk, and whether this has any safety impact if you are hit from the rear in an accident.
