Yes I have UEL catless header.

The logcfg.txt lile I am using is in the Tactrix thread linked below. Unfortunatly each rom calid has different ram addresses for parameters so it wont help you. I am lucky as ztan is also on A01G rom so he discovered a few extra ram addresses.

Hey guys, I'm on my second tank of E85, and my LTFT just shot up to around 17% at idle, and around +10% low rpm driving.

I'm in Maryland and I got the fuel from the county fleet station so I'm pretty sure it's 85% Ethanol.

Is the high fuel trim just due to me getting the last of the 93octane out of the tank, along with MAF scaling being set for a lower ethanol percentage?

I'm using the stock stage 2 e85 EL tune.

high positive trims indicate High ethanol content

the petrol and e85 mix very quickly, so on second tank it should be all good.

if trims were high Negative it would indicate low ethanol content.

Folks: I have been working on a fresh E85 cal. Still work in progress. Different Cams (Stock exhaust headers wont necessarily work great with OFT E85 EL header cal), Base Spark same as Stock spark and all the extra spark for E85 now comes from the KCA table.
I love the cal so far. Still tweaking. Let me know if anyone else is interested in trying it out. The one I made for my car is B01C based

trim problem I think

I made the mistake of parking and flashing to 85 tune immediately after I filled with E85. I've been driving car for about 20 or so miles but LTFT doesn't seem to wanna stay under 24. any thoughts or suggestions?

Ensure you actually flashed the e85 tune.

after 20 miles ltft should be starting to return towards lower values

did you actually fill with e85, guy a while back got caught with a mislabeled pump

you might have to look at the log data to determine if the ltft is positive or negitive

high positive means ecu is adding heaps of fuel to correct afr, caused by exhausy leaks or running e85 on a petrol tune,or after market intakes

high negitive ltft ecu is removing fuel to get correct afr , caused by running an e85 tune with petrol in tank or aftermarket intakes

do you have stock intake ?

have you ever looked at ltft before ? were the less than 10% on petrol ?
do you have exhaust leak ?

try reseting ecu to clear fuel trims either remove battery terminal or reflash tune

Im 100% sure i filled with 85, i can verify because i snap chatted it lol. if it was mislabeled i dont know but i highly doubt it.

Im running the stage 2 UEL e85 tune, with stock air box with drop in filter, Tomei UEL and invidia N1 catback. i tried reflashing tune after about 20 miles of high positive LTFT but it didnt seem to correct the problem. should i flash back to stock and then flash to e85?

As far as an exhaust leak is concerned i would have to check over the weekend. Not sure how to check for leaks though

Can shit get damaged if this problem doesnt correct itself?

also am i supposed to mix the 85 with regular 91 octane? because i didnt :/

flashing back another tune wont help , each time you flash previous tune is totally erased first
no need to mix e85 .with anyhing .

is the high ltft only at low rpm or does it continue u to 3000 too 4000 as well
high ltft at idle is not that bad but 24% is quite high and unusual.

im thinking exhaust leak

Goto http://www.datazap.me create an account. From there you can upload the downloaded datalog and then it will load the data. On the top left you can click on the tune name it will have a pop up for the link you can copy and paste here to look at.

To dl the log, goto openflash manager, the menu on the left at the bottom says datalogging. Click that, then use download tunes from oft button, click on the name. It will take a bit depending on how long you logged then you select the option to save it, then name it so it gets saved to your harddrive. That way you can upload it to datazap.
