Looks sweet, and of course abit pricy w/ the shipping and all. Still I think deserve its own DIY thread if anyone ever have it install!!!

And just to throw the idea out there, there are high quality WEATHERPROOF and not too expensive LED strip out there.

One concern I have as I am sure other ppl have as well. I got a rather expensive tint job done, so whatever solution it might be, it has to not stick to the rear windshield. Nontinted ones i am sure is fine.

I, along with a lot of others who purchased wheelhaus's solution, have tinting. The 3M adhesive will not pull off your tinting unless it is done poorly.

I understand it *should* not damage the tint.
But no one can be 100% certain that over time, when the 3m tap is melted, and you want to uninstall it, there are no chance of damaging the tint, OR just leave a deep mark/residue/whatnot on the windows/tint surface. And you cannot use a razor blade or other chemical to clean it because it'd destroy the tint.

I have 3m crystalline installed from auth. dealer w/ lifetime warranty, and it was not cheap, so I probably wait for a vendor/soution that I can safely mount it without taping to windows, just like the OEM is doing.

To me, any mod/solution should be better than OEM in every ways, so as to worth the time and money. That's just me.

That's actually why I designed the bracket for mine (found here). You may be able to retrofit wheelhaus' third brake light with my aluminum bracket design if you were so inclined. It makes it easy to remove for tinting and cleaning.
