It'd be nice if the transmission mount collar bolt torque specs were there. I've looked all over the net and can't find an answer to the question. Why doesn't the shop manual have this?

Subaru definitely needs to update this document ASAP with ALL the relevant data.

All the internet searching yesterday and these didn't once pop up in search results...

Ended up assuming they were the same as the engine mount specs, which is 45 ft lbs.

This is rather incomplete - I'm not sure why IT's stickied in this section as opposed to this post - which has ALL of the FSM.

Ok, haven't read the whole thread so I apologize if someone already brought this up, but there is conflicting information between this and the owner's manual when it comes to oil level and checking it.

On page PM-5 of this manual it states "As the oil level gauge is used for daily maintenance, 'F' mark and 'L' mark is set assuming that the engine is cold." Meanwhile, the owner's manual says the oil is supposed to be checked at least 5 minutes after running the engine (therefore, hot) to get an accurate reading. So how can techs and owners be on the same page when we get conflicting info from Subaru?

And apologies for the Necro-threading, even if it is a sticky.

Hi,

Im looking for the crank pulley install step by step guide. There is an old version and a new version. The new version explains some missing steps.

I think it relates to the tightening process. Now it’s turning the bolt 90 deg after the first tensioning to 15ft/lb I think, rather than a two step tension wrench process.

I’m getting a shop to fit my Fluidampr. Five minute job by someone who knows what they’re doing V a shit load of pain for me if I get it wrong.
