I'd like to see the FR-S/Premium BRZ hvac knob rings painted silver. I saw one picture where it looked great, but apparently the production models are all black which looks super cheap.

Here we are...

How about somebody does a DIY tutorial on how to bypass the airbag sensor for people installing aftermarket seats? (Of course, with the disclaimer that installing said seats will result in gruesome death, yadda yadda...)

heheh...well i figured since we have a OEM intake acoustic speaker, might as well use it for those who use re-circulation valves on their turbo setups.

It's a regular subaru 3-prong plug, all three mirrors I have installed/laying around will plug right up.

Unlike other subarus, you don't need to pull the map-light lens (to undo some screws underneath) - just pry the rear side of the map-light trim and it will come out.

Here's an excellent write-up for the forester and the mirror part is gonna be identical. The adapter piece is the one you have to buy (unless you have it as part of the mirror kit for impreza/forester). Part number is (I think, comes from BRZ dealer accessories list) H501SSA040.

I ordered just a day or two ago, along with a box of oil filters, so it won't come until mid-week. Try some local dealers that do e-parts via parts.subaru.com and enter the part number. I couldn't find a local dealer that had it in stock and didn't want to pay $10 shipping on a sub-10 dollar part, so I bought if from a place that had cheap filter price.
This deserves it's own thread with lots of pics!

DIY for putting LED/LED display into gauge cluster for radar detector.

DIY for swapping the GT86/BRZ's AC-Control unit into an FR-S.
~This will probably be one of the first things I'll be doing. I've called up my local Subie dealer and you can only order every single part of the AC-Control unit separately...meaning you have to order every single switch, knobs and faceplate and assemble it yourself first. Does anyone know of a way to order one pre-assembled?

Thanks,
Nathan

Yes - make the fender vent functional - or at least look better (BRZ)
