Alignment Settings & Parts
Let's talk what to change and the parts needed to change it to improve performance for street driven vehicles. Usually I'd just add a half degree of front camber and that's it but I just heard the stock spec is only 1/2° (and it can't be increased with stock parts)?!?
I figure most of you guys have the experience from the last generation to be messing with toe as well. Let's hear what new owners are finding... Last edited by Lelandjt; 01-18-2022 at 02:05 AM. |

For street driving all you should need are crash bolts in the lower hole. That usually gets you into the 1.5* range.

I’d go spc cam bolts in the lower hole and take the lower bolts and put them in the upper hole, -2 is a nice sport street camber imho.

Front - Crash bolt/camber bolt. Each good for roughly 1° each.
Combo already mentioned net me -2°--2.3°(different alignment racks, same settings) Pedders offset strut mount can add an additional -0.75° or so. Rear - adjustable lower control arms/adjustable toe arms. |

Tire choice and intended usage are important factors, along with the rest of your suspension set up.
The crash bolts are so cheap and easy they're a no-brainer for even a basic street car. Plenty more you can do after that for more camber and dialing in everything. - Andrew |
