For some reason the track above (Flume) reminded me of the theme from Hardware (the movie). I loved the movie at the time thinking it had a lot more emotional content than Terminator. The track is repetitive, doesn't progress very far but I like it all the same given the memory of the movie it has for me.
Vocals by Johnny Rotten.

Interesting, remember that song.

Strange recalling memories of how moving/cool/cutting edge something was compared to how they look/feel now.

Like Dune the original movie, felt so futuristic and dark when it came out. Now it looks cheap and fake..

I haven't heard that for ages. That track is from sometime in my past. I can't place the time or the place but I know that track from somewhere.

For me it was Christmas time with my parents as a toddler grooving away to Stevie with all the joys of innocence still intact..

The sparkle of tinsel and Christmas lights, the anticipation of what Santa would bring.

Nice memories.

I don't mind Stevie Wonder and am pretty tolerant of music I don't like (except country I can only take a few minutes of it) but his "Songs in the Key of Life" pushed me over the edge a few decades ago.
When I was stationed in Germany we had 6 guys to a room in the barracks. One of my best buddies bought the album. Didn't mind it to much but he started playing it over and over and over and over. After a couple of days of nothing but that one album we started to ask him to play something else (he had the only turntable). He just kept playing that same damned album. One day after about a week I just got up, walked over, picked up the record and frisbeed it out the window onto the runway. Before anybody questions me, yes the barracks was that close to the runway. Thank god he didn't replace it and we got a mix of music after that. To this day if Sir Duke comes on the radio I will shut it off!

@Tcoat since you hate country music, I guess you'll hate Turkish country music more. So this is my present to you It's from right in the middle of the Anatolia.. Enjoy

Mown Meadow

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7FgkPr66A0[/ame]

Could the mown meadow be cut?
Could waters be drank cold?

They want me to waive my loved one;
How could you waive your love?

Let it slide! Let them say what they want, let them eat candies as well.
Let them say "that girl lost her heart to this boy"
Let it slide! Let them say what they want, let them eat candies as well.
Let them say "that girl lost her heart to this boy"

Railroad to Ankara
Sometimes curved, sometimes straight.

My dear, Anatolia,
Should I go away from you?

Oh, I was burnt out, burnt out, burnt out!
I had to stay in the foreign countries.
Let it slide! Let them say what they want, let them eat candies as well.
Let them say "that girl lost her heart to this boy"
