@JPM Coachworks andrew, this is Ivan. i'm sorry i didn't return your call its been so hectic at work lately.
i just installed the genuine leather knee pads/speaker trim yesterday. (i've had it sitting for over a week though). the fitment on the knee pads is a bit tight to pop into place but once it fit there are no gaps, everything is perfect and it FEELS so good, really brings the interior together. as for the door speakers, first of all i had this annoying rattle in my passenger door. once i installed your pads it went away. i'm assuming becasue its padded and right over the speaker that acts as a sort of sound deadening? either way the doors grills were SUPER easy to intalls. on your website however there aren't instuctions, even though you state that there is a PDF file, so for future buyers at least put up a quick few sentences on what to do. i knew i had to take the door cards off, (who reads instructiosn anyway ) but some may not realize this. The install is VERY easy. you pop off teh plastic door handle cover, you find two screws, pop those out. pop out the screw in the door latch. pop out the push clip by the little window. then pull the door card off. it will pop RIGHT off as its hewld in with clip. MAKE sure to take out any clips left in the door and put them back on the door card, because you wont be able to get them back on the door card by popping it back on the door. you unhook the door cables, unclip the harness and door car is off. then its super easy, uncrew the screws that hold the panel on, it falls off, pop JPM piece on, screw it back on. make sure all clips are in place. pop door card back on, put screws back in. DONE. this is MAYBE a 30 minute install. the quality is really good. i'll try to post pictures when i can. |

Brave man on the headliner. Probably the hardest part to do correctly. The DIY headliners I've seen tend to sag in no time.

Do you guys have a show car at your place? I'm not positive I'd like to purchase anything right now, but I would like to see the red leather pieces in person (particularly the piece over the cluster). Might have to check out the knee pads as well. Can you pad up the existing pieces or would I need to get the OEM pads first whenever they become available stateside (I figure they should since they'll be on all MY14 models)? I live in Smyrna so I figure the perk there is I won't have to have anything shipped.
*Figure I might as well ask. Any chance you guys would do some sort of local group buy? |

I don't want to speak for jpm, but if there were ever a group buy I can almost guarantee it would be limited to black with red stitching. They would need to make the reduced cost worth it and customizations just take too much extra time. The regular price is already pretty damn fair. |
