Worrying about getting run over by a driverless car should be one of the least of your worries.

There are too many crazy people in this world to be worrying about, besides a driverless car.

Haha just before this happened, I was on the freeway and somewhere up ahead somebody dropped either a bunch of paint or some other kind of material that got all over my front bumper

Reminds me of a back-in-the-day story.

It was a warm July morning when I pulled out of Davis, CA, heading north on a straight, lonesome road in the rice country heading to the Rice Research Station in Biggs, CA.

I was tooling along, over the speed limit, totally hung over, in my company Ford gran torino, with the windows down when coming right at me, at 9 O clock was a Grumman Ag Cat (crop dusting airplane) about 3 feet off the ground and 50' away. He pulled up just before he hit me!

He sprayed parathion (a very toxic insecticide) all over my windshield. I had to stop and clean it off, then kept going on down the road in hopes I could get it to dissipate from inside my car before I got a stomach ache (organophosphate poisoning).

OK, now the sun was beating down on the flooded rice fields, which made it quite hot and humid, (windows down - no AC), I'm hung over, hungry and on the verge of stomach cramps when I pulled into the research station.

I SURVIVED!

(although that experience may partially explain why I am the way I am - )

Interesting side job/offer came along... my buddy’s brother is training a kid (well not really a kid, but kid to me lol) who’s trying to enter into a lower division MMA. Today I had a chance to do quick sparing w him. Def he can punch fast, but not sure he can advance or win much. They offer me a part time instructor/advisor. I was born & raised in martial art family (dad side fam), so I know few things about martial arts & fighting... but MMA feels like totally different can of worms. I don’t watch MMA or UFC, so have no clue on that field or even a rule.

In the end, I declined the offer. I just told them when I got time, I can advice here & there. I got shit prioritize... aka baby stuff lol

So with my focus on EMT training and preparing to return to military service, I've officially checked out on trying to convince clients on the efficacy of strength training. Guess I'm tired of arguing with clients and gym-goers on effective exercise methods after seven years. I'll let them believe what they want.

Could you please elaborate on that? I don't understand the point you're making.

Just got a call to setup a closing date on the house! Yay~ can’t wait!

On the negative side, baby still haven’t flipped her head upside down yet. Doc tried to flip her today, but didn’t go well. Week 39 (so about in a wk), they gonna try to flip her again. If she still doesn’t, will go into C-section straight afterward.
