So just so everyone is aware, STD correction is about 4% higher than SAE. I find that SAE correction is what you want to use on naturally aspirated motors as atmospheric pressure and temperature effects are very well accounted for by the SAE correction factors especially if the dyno is done at different times. For turbocharged motors because pressure and temperature have a skewed effect due to the compressor staying between ambient pressure and temperature SAE and STD compensations start to deviate the higher you move away from 1.0 compensation factors (high altitudes etc).

What I find more compelling is that the second gen makes 25% more power at the wheels than the first gen (according to OpenFlash's dyno on the last page).

20% bigger engine with a better flowing stock header and I'm sure some other improvements. Makes sense to me.

SAE correction should be applied in all dyno results. Uncorrected results or plain STD correction w/o atmospheric pressure and temperature corrections doesn't make sense. Otherwise we are comparing apples with oranges.

Well except for turbo engines as he points out, correcting turbo engines for atmospheric pressure is one really big mistake that many people do, it makes no sense.

I mean with a dynojet who knows if its running a load control module, the numbers can vary a lot even with the same correction factor.
