Really Terrible week so far after turning 21 4 days ago :(

Hey, Guys lurker on the forums for a while

Im not sure if this this right place to put this here but here it goes, because i needed somewhere to vent a bit as i am in total disbelief and shock from Yesterday's accident and reallllly depressed (only had the car for about 4 months).

Older Lady's Car

The lane she tried to make a left turn into the gas station, im guessing she was more towards the back end of the lane because i did not see her car as there was a big white van in the lane also...

As soon as i crossed the interection all i see the last second is this saturn making a left into the gas station, i did not even break because it happened in a blink of an eye, i hit her then everything after that was like a blur, i looked up and my airbags went off, wind shield wipers were on (lol), my glasses were on the floor, after 5 mins of being dazed and confused i crawled out of my passenger door. Cried mostly at my car getting thumped (while every1 was asking if i was okay, i dont speed on the streets because the streets here in Los Angeles are terruuble).

If my car is at a total loss (was a lease, then was going to buy at end), i most likely will get the same car but manual this time (lol). Its a shame i bought the whole LED setup from HID_Powerhouse, @KI_ZN6 (though i only lost the DRL's side marker lights and turn signals, i recieved my Euro R's the same night... so i did not lose those)and also some clear white markers from @Carson Toyota. Also my friendfinished installing my Megan Racing Coilovers the night before, so those hours .
I was so excited for the next 2 weeks as i was going to put in my order of some Advan RG-D from evasive motorsports.

Sorry if this was a little bit of a read and unorganized and such, now i have to drive a chevy cruze :/, for the next week as a rental. Started my Rehab for the next 2 months a few hours after the incident after talking to my lawyer.

Thanks, so far im alright nothing broken haha, mostly bruises and shoulder soreness

At first i felt more worried about the car while i was still dazed and full on adrenaline, then when i calmed downed i was glad i was not badly hurt as this was my first accident big or small.

Yep, your car is messed up pretty bad ..... but it sounds like it protected you pretty well.

(I have to ask ..... did your forum name come before or after the accident...??)

Thanks!, yea it looks bad but i came out not terribly injured just a few dinks here and there but not anything life threatning (thankfully). and my forum name came before the accident haha. im sad that it even happened ( i blame class being canceled for me driving back home!) but in the end if my car is totaled, time for a manual instead of automatic haha!?!

I hired a lawyer to deal with all of this so, all i have to do is sit back continue with life go to my rehab, and drive my rent a car chevy cruze LOL!

Always sad to see a twin go down but long as your okay. Cars are replaceable but lives are not. And also a testament to the safety of this car and how well it protected you. Happy belated Bday and best wishes for a good recovery!

I know it's sad how cars crunch today, but they sacrafice their sexiness for us! Just be happy you get to have more birthdays and maybe some money to put towards the new car?

Glad you're safe and I hope you recover fine and this whole incident gets taken care of and blows over quickly.

my lawyer told me to go into rehab/physical therapy so if anything that happened to me will be checked and covered. The Sooner the better they said to me, meaning down the line after everything is done i cant go back to them and say something like my arm is really hurting can you send me to the doctor now, i would have to pay that out of my own pocket, something like that if it makes sense.

Even though i did not feel anything the same day, i woke to alot of discomfort in the shoulder/neck, lower back, and hands.

Yea, hopefully i had the right away to be driving straight and not her making left turns into incoming traffic (me) on a green light lol... If my car is completely totaled ( im not sure yet) i could see the new fr-s model thats coming out in january just gotta suck it up and drive the cars we have at home already.
