if you get the trunk code wrong enough times will it lock you out forever ?

Cool vid. Makes me wonder if some of that stuff works on other Toyotas (or would it be other Subies)?

The punching in a code on the trunk is a Subaru thing.

I don't believe there's a scenario where it will lock you out forever. If you forget the code, you can clear it using the key and entering in 22222 for the code using the same process.
