2" Torklift/Ecohitch + 1up USA Bicycle Rack

I installed a 2" Ecohitch, coupled it with a 2" 1upUSA bicycle rack on my '14 BRZ premium and thought I'd share some pics. Hitch install was simple (see http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=13), and installing/removing/using/transporting the rack couldn't be easier (no assembly required).

I haven't driven anywhere yet, but all seems solid and sufficient.

NICE. that is much more compact than the Kuat. pretty interesting.

Why 2" instead of 1.25"?

We have the 1.25" ecohitch w/the Kuat Sherpa on my son's Impreza, and it always seemed a bit wobbly and flimsy. This full 2" system has a much better feel. That said, we've never had any actual problems with the other setup.

This is great. I normally bum rides off friends to the mountain bike trails but I am considering adding a hitch now.

@jubella2 - the EcoHitch is great. You may also want to note that DrawTite has bumper mounted hitch for $135: http://amzn.to/2j655EA

The bottom section isn't removable like the EcoHitch. In my book, that's actually a nice feature, as it's more theft-proof.

That is a nice looking hitch, and it's much cheaper. I'd like to do a side to side comparison between that and the Ecohitch, but it looks quite similar. Except for not having the 2" option, it looks like a good choice.

That's interesting. It has a bit too much drop, I would want it to put the hitch higher up. It's making me think though...
